Remixing Acapellas with Sonar pro 7!!

Remixing Acapellas with Sonar pro 7!!

Could anybody help me on this i am trying to remix songs but can't find the bpm to the acapella is there a way to time the acapella to the metronone click?

    My guess is they won't be following anything remotely like a click track, so the beats will be all over the place. If this is the case, and you're wanting to put some beats behind it, you're gonna have to chop it all up and do some time stretching with Melodyne or AudioSnap. If you can detect a regular, steady pulse, you can use AudioSnap to 'Set Beat at Now' and map out your tempo. But, as I said, I'm guessing you're going to have to just do a lot of chopping/time stretching and hope the results are acceptable.

    I'll have three fingers of Glenlivet, with a little bit of pepper... and some cheese.

    If the song was in time to a click, you can get the vocals to fall on a groove.

    I would put the original song in there and find the tempo to that, then make a beat or throw a drum loop in while at that tempo and get the vocals to line up with the groove-

    Then, remix away!!!
