Windows 7 users: Which of your drivers and VSTs working?

IIRC:
These seem not yet officially ready for Windows 7 64-bit:

Miraslave Philharmonic,
Superior Drummer 2

The following seem OK for Windows 7 64bit ... IIRC:

RME devices
Voxengo Voxformer
Ozone 4

Would you windows 7 users confirm which devices, Synths, and/or VSTs are working for windows 7 at this point?

Things like: Melodyne, EWQL stuff, NI stuff, etc.?  Thanks!

Philip

Superior Drummer 2 works fine via JBridge in Windows 7 x64.  ToonTrack is working on a native x64 release for Superior and EZ Drummer.
Also using NI Komplete 5 & 6 here and haven't come across any issues.

They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing.

So far everything seems to be working for me on win 7, even drivers and software that don't yet officially support win 7. I was pleasantly surprised at how straight forward the transition has been from going from xp 32 to win 7 64. I haven't yet used win 7 for any production work though, so maybe there are some issues I haven't come across yet.

Thanks all: 35mm, G_Hacker, Genghis, Munmum
Like you Xp-32'ers, I enjoy the tried and proven.  But my mother-board crashed and Dell will be a few weeks finding another.

I'm afraid Windows 7 will be 'taking over' ... while 'some' cool VSTs won't be ready.  The fact that Superior Drummer 2 will hopefully be ready is a chief concern.

I bought an HP ENVY laptop which has a 'Windows experience index' of 5.9 (Best Buy $2k).  The i7 processor works exceedingly well with Sonar 8.5 according to Producer's Forum here.

IIRC, One guy touted running 60 instances of Ozone 4.  Heehee!  The days of XP OS's ... with JBridge? Sonar BitBridge ... may be drawing to a close for me.

So, I'll 'eventually' be bouncing all my MIDI's to wave files (accept Superior Drummer 2's if possible) ... and *cough* go with 60 instances of ozone 4 if I have to.

anything that has to be rewired.  that includes GS3

I'm still using XP.  when I do finally upgrade to Win7 (not in my near future), I'll have to also switch over to Kontakt and port all of my GS sounds into Kontakt.

    not looking forward to that!

Yea that's a good point. Rewire does not support 64bit, but some rewire stuff now comes with a vsti version.

Thanks for chiming again, 35mm and Beag,

I see the Roland Fantom drivers are also: Vista 64 only.

(Yeah, I'd procrastinate too, if I had a choice ... fortunately I've got a laptop lessor studio ... that should be able to convert some of my MIDI's to waves.)
