Opinions needed...

Hey Guys,
I've been working on improving my mix and I want to hear your honest opinion on this as far as mix and skill level. I am playing drums, guitar, bass, and lead...no vocals, just an instrumental...the song is "Get Back" by the Beatles. In fact, if anyone wants to add vocals to it, let me know. Thanks. http://jonesfire.com/misc/getbackedited.mp3

GOOD JOB! The feel is right on. Get one of the guys to add vox and it's good to go IMO
PS. Not being able to sing never stopped me. Add your voice to some of your recordings. It's fun!

I echo Bill (above).  It sounds good, add your own vocals, and most importantly, have fun with it!

Ah a Fab-Four tribute!  Most excellent to my ears.

I'm sure you can solicit someone (Alkie?) to do vocals.

Sounds real good to my ears also! Now, "Get back to (the studio) where you once belonged".

The playing seems just right. A few slips in tempo from time to time, but seeing as you did this all by yourself, certainly understandable. The lead guitar sounds perfect.

The mix is pretty good, but a few points:
the snare is panned left; never a good idea
when the hard guitars come in bah ba, they have to be louder and with more punch
    the bass is kinda soupy
    ending is sloppy

Sounds great! I'm a bit of a Beatles nut job so I'm giving high praise. It would be nice if you had Billy Preston's electric piano in there. Mix is very good to my ear.

I'll just say keep working on it. The feel is good but the mix needs some work. Get your panning right and volumes where they should be and sing the vocals and have fun with it. Great start.

    Excellent rendition. Nice tones
The one thing that jumped out comparing with my memory of the Beatles take was the lack of "Galloping" drum thruout. Badabum badabum badabum badabum.
I used to sing this in a band (Cuz I had the high voice) and would volunteer a vox if you like.

Nice sound.  James had some good advice for you along with the others.  It would sound really good with vocals.  Good instrumental performances.
