SIMULTANEOUS MULTI-TRACK RECORDING

I am running LE and I have the Edirol M-16DX connected via USB.

Can I set it up to record four or more input channels from the M-16DX to 4 individual record tracks simultaneously?

Thanks,
JP

I think LE supports 64 audio tracks, so why not?  Expecting your Edirols inputs show in Sonar.
What happened, when you tried? You surely haven't waited for 13 hours for an answer without trying, jus out of curiosity :o)

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

SONAR LE 4 and SONAR LE 6 support 64 audio tracks.  SONAR LE 8.5 supports 32 audio tracks.

However, all versions of SONAR LE will only recognize 8 inputs and 8 outputs for simultaneous multi-tracking.  To use more than 8 at a time you need to purchase SONAR Studio, SONAR Producer, or the SONAR Home Studio series.

Looks like I am late to the game, but i just downloaded sonar producer from bandlab and it recognizes my m-audio m track 8, but only gives me inputs 1 3 5 and 7 ... how do I get all 8 mono tracks?

    thanks,

Use the left or right side of 1,3,5 or 7 to record a mono track. The input options should show something like
    1 - Left
    1 - Right
    1 - Stereo

1 - Left is channel 1 on the interface
1 - Right is channel 2 on the interface
1 - Stereo are channels 1 and 2 on the interface
3 - Left is channel 3 on the interface
3 - Right is channel 4 on the interface
    and so on
