So anyway.... As capt Kirk's side-kick would say; Live long and thump butt! Butt as it turned out ~ Mr.Sulu took that all too literally... oh dear.... It's a wonder anyone survived the journey back home! -

Crg Where no man has gone before. You got that straight right. From hereon when Star Trek comes on and that line is said; 'Where no man has gone before' it will have a whole new twisted meaning to it.

So Anyway... another year draws to a close. the winter solstice had an event that has not happened in many years, the lunar eclipse. It's surely a sign that the cosmos works on a clock we've not fully envisioned yet. As we sit here on the eve of the birth of Christ I can't help but ponder if perhaps there are changes ahead and heavan and the cosmos are one.

So anyway.... Here I sit pondering the structural marvel that is corrugated cardboard, photon torpedoes have started firing vertically from the centre of my head quite freely and uncommanded, as are the flame jets that started emanating from the apex of my elbows several hours before that. I can't help wonder on a day that I've been taught is a good day to keep an eye on the wider picture, why the individuality of my minute granule in the sands of being should become such a large distraction. If I was of a paranoid disposition I'd swear at times somebody was having a laugh at my expense. (or are they?)

So the moon waxes an wanes in ever expanding circles. Yet, do we see the circles? Can the moon communicate with us on a level that is both animal and spiritual? I've seen better days but I've seen worse. Somehow none of that is comforting for very long. The next pit stop is where I have to check my values but not that of others. A crimson tide awaits but not today. There a men who would drag me down but only if I let them. I'll discuss this with them at the pearly gates.

Jonbouy So anyway... Where's Craig? He needs to check-in on this thread before next Christmas Crg went to Maui for a week. Just got back today. Had a great time, stuffed myself with fresh Hawaiian Ahi Tuna, real Mai Tai's, apple bananas, went snorkeling at Molokini Crater and several other places that were absolutely beautiful. Went up to the volcanic crater at 10,000 ft and several places in between. I almost didn't come back. I got caught in a thermal kine at Mekena Landing while snorkeling and got sucked into the rocks. A thermal kine is a place where fresh water gushs into the ocean from collapsed lava tubes underground creating some massive temperature changes and currents in a small area. You can't see them and they can move you unexpectedly a good distance at once and the effect in the water is like suddenly entering a hidden room full of light where the fresh water is coming up. So of course you pause and look and that's when you find yourself 10-15 ft from where you were. In my case, right next to a coral reef encrusted rock sticking out of the water. Wore myself out getting out of it and back to stable water. I'll try to post some pictures.
