Opening Pro Audio 9 projects in Sonar3

A good friend of mine is still using Pro Audio 9. I would like to export his projects into Sonar 3 if possible for some mixing and mastering. I haven't been able to find any info on whether this is possible. I would be truly grateful for any help.

Thanks in advance,

First of all, you would open them in SONAR. No importing or exporting required.

SONAR should be able to open the projects with no problem. I would have tried it first before posting. No guts, No glory.

Once edited in SONAR, You may NEVER open the project in PA9 again.

Hi, Oscar. Since you last posted, Sonar has released version 6. ;-) j/k -- hope your file opening adventure went okay!

I would suggest just to double check the bussing in the S3 project to ensure nothing gets lost in the translation.

Also, minor nit, but if you didn't associate .wrk and .bun files with Sonar when you installed Sonar, they probably won't show on the Sonar "File > Open" menu. You may have to launch them by double-clicking on the file name and manually telling Windows to use Sonar to open them.
