Can Sonar 6 XL pack be used with Sonar 8 Producer?

Can Sonar 6 XL pack be used with Sonar 8 Producer?

Hello,
 
I searched in the archives but couldn't find this. I have upgraded from Sonar 6 Home Studio with XL pack containg virtual instruments to Sonar 8 Producer Edition about a year ago but had to recently do a clean install of Son8 PE because I also upgraded my PC componants and OS.
 
I forogot that SHS6 had another disc labeld XL Pack. Can the XL pack be installed with S8 PE? I didn't want to try it because it took me hours to install S8PE and I was fearing a problem. If I can does it go to the VSt folder for S8PE?

    Tom - I'm going to make that transition this weekend (6XL to 8 Producer).  What were the problems you were running into?  I'm also upgrading the PC and OS.

    Computer: 2.5 GHz Core2Quad, 6GB, Windows 7 Home Premium, Sonar X1d, Edirol UA-25
    Instruments: Carvin 5-string bass, Ovation Acoustic, Parker P-38, Baldwin DG100 keyboard, Vito alto sax
    Toys: POD 2.0, Zoom RFX-1000

    I didn't have  problem with S8, it was with other hardware in my pc. I put Vista 64 and a new video card in for the second time. The first one wouldn't display all thr settings and even with updated drivers would crash the system.  So I did a full clean reformat and install a new one to clean all the old junk out. I wanted to use my pc just for audio production now anyway so I wanted to take all the unecessary programs out. It seems to work fine. I have a laptop that I use for everything else like internet and stuff.
     
    I backed up my pc and decided to take a chance and installed the XL Pack and it seems to be there. I'm about to explore to see if it all works ok and if it does I'll check back.
