Scaled Down Version For Purchase by Sonar Pro 8.5 Users?

Has anybody at Sonar thought about offering a scaled down version of  VS-100 (less software) for Sonar Pro 8.5 users that may want to purchase? We already have all the software that comes with the VS-100. I would not consider this otherwise. I am currently using a Firewire 410 but I like the idea of being able to use the controls on the VS-100...oh yeah and I am not a wealthy person.

    probably they have. maybe they will. but in my opinion sonar likely has a very small amount of vested interest that they need to recoup on the vs-100 software. i'm very impressed with the unit for the price and also a sonar pro 8.5 user.

    Yeah I'm itchin to buy it but my back pocket says no. If the price was lower I would. I also can't stand paying for something I already have. Like I did with the last 2 releases of Sonar. I bought Dimension Pro full version before it was included with the upgrade...I think I now have 3 keys for Dimension Pro.
