Help me find a looper

Can anyone recommend a looper pedal  --- now, before you all start waving your hands..... :)

I have played with some loopers / delays (lo fi loop junkie, memory man with hazarai, line 6) and it seems to me that they make live looping much harder than it needs to be.

They all seem to be something like: hold button to record, let go of button to play loop, press button to stop loop, hold button to delete loop, press button to activate unit again, hold button to record loop....repeat as necessary. The process is easy enough unles, say, you happent to have to do it live, in front of an audience, while playing guitar.

It is really bad when you are trying to loop a riff live, play over it, get back into the song on time, and they record a different riff.

I don't need 10000 minutes of loop time, or overdubs, or speed canges, or corinthian leather.

I need a looper that records while I hold the button, plays back when I release it, and deletes the loop automatically when I take my foot of. Should be easy, no?

You might find some info here:

    http://www.loopers-delight.com

The guitarist in my band uses this one and it seems pretty simple to use:

    DigiTech HardWire DL-8 Delay/Looper

    Other Loopers available:

    Good Luck with the search.

most authors of novels regarded as classics are dead, classic novels are, therefore, most likely to be written by dead people.

Boss RC-2 then get some extra foot switches for it. Same functionality as the dual Boss looper and cheaper.
