As a new boy to this particular block....

As a new boy to this particular block, I wanted to post my user experiences!
I have previously used a Zoom 16 track for home recording and it is a very good machine, but I wanted to move onto a computer based system. So I purchased a Sonar Home Studio and a Multimix 8 Firewire into a Sony laptop running Vista. I eventually gave up the will to live after so many crashes, stops and hours (and hours) of wasted time.
Then I purchased the VS-100. Wow....once setup....it is fabulous!
Reliable, stable, intuitive.....I am now spending my time trying to play music better rather than just trying to make the recording system work. This is a good thing!
There are a thousand things I dont understand yet....but I can learn those on the way.... at least I have a great platform to work on. Expect loads of questions on the forum in the future!
Best regards
Stuart

    Hi Stuart
Fellow ex Zoom 16 track user here
I'm still getting to grips with editing in Sonar as it is so different from the Zoom.
To be honest,I'm struggling a tad with this software malarky, but hopefully it will all 'click' soon.
I hope you have a smoother ride than I
