Waves plugins in SONAR 8.5.3 ... and Windows XP?

Anybody able to get Waves 9 plug-ins (in particular, OneKnob Louder and Vocal Rider) to work with SONAR 8.5.3 ... on Windows XP SP3?

I've got those two plugins installed, registered, and VSTscanned ok.  But when I open the GUI for either, there's nothing in there but gray space (and the usual SONAR controls).

I realize that the official requirements for Waves 9 are SONAR X1/X2 and Windows 7 ... so I'm probably out of luck.

Just thought I'd check around, before I give up and uninstall Waves.

    Thanks for the suggestion, but it's not really an x-ray problem.

    Here's a picture of what I'm seeing:

    I would still try this http://www.cakewalk.com/D...roubleshooting.20.html from the X2 documentation. The fix is the same in 8.5.

    Waves plugins are working fine here under XP.

    However, I have seen that symptom before, including once with a Waves product. In that case, my recollection is that I re-installed it and that seemed to take care of the problem.

    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Thank you guys!  Success!

    As gustabo and scook suggested, I dis-abled Xray and sure enough, all was better ... sorry I ever doubted you!

    However, I do use Xray alot, and so rather than disable it entirely, I also found that I could use the XRayExclude.ini file to dis-able only Waves plugins, by including these lines:

      [EffectProps View]
      ;Exclude all Waves plugins, due to incompatibilities
      XRayVendorExclude1=Waves

    In fact, those lines were already in my XRayExclude.ini file, but I had moved that file out of the way because I never had Waves plugins before now.

    Thanks again for all your help!
