RIP Dr Henry Edward Roberts

I do remember seeing a show years back featuring the Altair etc ... but obviously being a Brit.. well 2 things.. before my time and US based.

    One of my early-in-my-career bosses still had his Altair 8800 in his home office when we worked together. It was a ton of fun to play with, and when you stop to think about it, a pretty remarkable feat, both technically and practically (meaning sales, marketing, etc).

    In my first job we built an 8085 Single-board-computer that borrowed heavily from ideas first presented in the Altair.
