Win7 Doesn't Display File Bit Depth in Audio/Sample Folders

Under WinXP, I had all my audio and sample folder views customized to show bit depth and sample rate, and as I recall, it pretty much displayed the correct values everywhere.

In Win7, I have customized all Music folder types to do the same thing, but I have two problems:

The bit depth column is always blank, and there doesn't seem to be an option to show sample rate in kHz any more, only bit rate in kbps.

Any suggestions? Do I have to enable disk indexing or something to get bit depth to show? And what happened to sample rate?
