Audio Snap in 8.53 x64 seems to be missing something from days of yore

last night i had to use audiosnap on a vocal track to make my new rap match up with my old rap, and for the most part, was very pleased with the flexibility of Audio Snap (i.e. switching back and forth from Transient view, cutting, moving, etc . . . and the iZotope Radius renderer sounds awesome).  however, i searched everywhere (even RTFM) but i could not find the old function of "insert new marker" anywhere.  where did it go?

3.5 Ghz AMD 6-Core/16 gigs RAM, Roland Quad-Capture, Win 10, Cakewalk by Bandlab, Komplete 10, z3ta+, Z3TA+ 2, Rapture, Maschine 2.7 (MKI & Jam), Melodyne 4 Studio, Ozone 4, Jam Origin MIDI Guitar 2, Schecter Damien Elite, Fender Sonoran w/TronicalTune Plus installed, etc

Strictly going from memory here, but I think it's either a ctrl+click, shift+click or alt+click.  Or a right click.   One of those.

    Alt+click is the one
