Can you use a midi pedal such as the FCB1010 to control the v-studio + effects?

Hi there,
 
The only pedals that you can use with the VS-20 Effects Editor software are basic single or dual footswitches (like the BOSS FS-5 and FS-6) and standard resistive expressional pedals. VS-20 hardware has separate inputs for footswitches and an expression pedal.

So no possibility of adding floor pedals to toggle effects on and off in real time?  That a real big bummer.  Well, at least you can connect a mic, I guess.

You can use footswitch pedals to to toggle effects on and off in the VS-20 Effects Editor software. There are details as to how to do this in the VS-20 Effects Editor manual, which we have online here in the "Online Resources" section:
