Majors and minors: Issues with remixing

I have a few vocal accapellas I want to remix that are in Major scales, however most of the clips in my loop CD's are for minor scales.  Can you use minor chords and such with a Major vocal?  What do you have to do to make them sound right together?

are these loops of voices in chords?

you're not really going to be able to change them or use them in minor keys except where the minor keys have the same chords, and that would only be sparsly, for example if you're in the harmonic minor key of Cm then you will only have Gmaj as the 5th that you could use the major voice chord on.

the only other way to do that would be to get Melodyne Editor (I think retail it's $300, but I don't remember that for certain).  melodyne editor will allow you change the chords in the audio clip.  but from what I've heard i would be surprised if it sounds perfect when doing it.  it might be acceptable in the mix, tho.

If you do not mind the chords being turned into 7ths, you can always try using the samples of chords 2 scale degrees higher than intended. However, you will also need to layer a sample of a voice singing in the root note of the chord over it.
