recording connection,Full Sail,Berklee online schools
I am debating on any of these schools giving me that extra learning into sound engineer and being a certified producer, but just not sure if any online course can deliver. I have already done some research in Full sail, and the first thing that made me think twice was the tuition of 57,000 for a 2 year degree. i've looked at alot of reviews on full sail and there were alot of mixed reviews and alot of negative. Alot of people were saying the school just wants your money and is not worth the 57k you pay for stuff you can learn in books or youtube, so on that note im skeptical. The Review on berklee was a much more affordable price of 14,000 for a master certificate, but i still wasn't satisfied that it was cheaper. I did a sample lesson on the Berklee course and it just seemed like a bunch of reading and pre-recorded videos made by the instructor on the lessons. I don;t know if many people know that there is a program call recording connection were you are put in a local studio and have the chief engineer train you to become a engineer. There was much skepticalism about the program being a scam program that just wanted your money but it actually does look legit. The cost of the program is like 7,500 but with financial aid by sallie may it would come out to like maybe 9,000 cause of the interest. The thing that makes recording connections a little bit more favorable is that you are already interning at the same time you are learning , and the other schools don't promise a internship or job placement. If anyone has ever done any of these course's please please let me know what your outcome was.
p.s. If anyone doesn't approve of these course please recommend the best way to becoming a engineer were i can master the arts of: mixing ,mastering, arranging, post and pre production, and the overall process of being the best producer.
