AutoPan

Can any one recommend a Freeware Auto Pan VST for Sonar 8.5 I have used several in the past but none seem to work or crash Sonar if I use them Since Upgrade to 8.5

Cheers

You can also make pan envelopes for the track and draw your own automation

The one by MB-Plugins that was at KVR can be had here:

Can't vouch for the web site, and haven't tried it, but it appears pretty full-featured compared to others.

How about using the Sonitus Surround that comes with SONAR?

Yes, the Sonitus Surround plug-in included with SONAR may also work for you as long as you don't need the panning to be synced to the project tempo.

sonar sucks, they dont provide the bread and butter plugin you need, and if you try your own, it will crash. Ableton Live provide a lot of useful plugin and easy to use. I use to have an auto on my hithat on every track. With different tempo, synched and you can even out phase it. Doing the same thing with automation is a real pain in the a**. Out phasing is very difficult and you have to redo it again when you change your mind. I am pretty sure these guys dont do music.
