Rapture LE -- Running multiple instances freezes SP 8.5

I often want to use several sounds from a soft synth as I am editing.  I have a few ways of achieving this: one is to create more than one instance of the synth (I do this often with Battery .. load up a trap kit in one instance, load up percussion or sound effects in a second instance) .  Another, obviously, is to use multiple midi channels when possible.

Rapture LE does not seem to support the option of multiple channels ... am I wrong in this assumption?

Also, when I try to add another instance of Rapture LE, I always end of freezing Producer ... and this is on a multi-core machine with over 8 GB RAM.

I'm wondering if anyone has some tips or tricks on how to use multiple sounds from Rapture in a Producer project.

    No one else is having a problem loading more than one instance of Rapture??

    No, tho I only use the full version of rapture, but I don't think LE is the problem.  And it is the only way to get more than 6 single-element voices.  I've had a couple on instances up and running, tho my computer ain't as spiffy as yours so I freeze tracks.  Might try that and see if it works.
