V-100 vs. my Line 6 KB37

With P8.5 I have used my L6 KB37 to record my guitars via Pod Farm 2. While many of the same effects came bundled with Sonar I am long use to Pod Farm and want to keep using it. To access it I must use the KB37. I recently got the V-100. With the V-100 as a controller all options to input my L6 are unavailable. It's one or the other but I need both. I want to connect my guitar into my KB37, that into Pod Farm and then to a track in P8.5. Meanwhile with the V-100 have keyboards, mics and a drum machine feeding additional tracks. How do I keep the V-100 from diabling my L6?

Thanks,
Jeff

Can't you just use your KB37 as the "dongle" or "licensing device" for PODFarm 2?  I have a Line6 GuitarPort that serves the same purpose.  I run my guitar into my VS100, then simply launch PODFarm as a plugin and it finds the GuitarPort only for licensing and I use the inputs from my VS100 to record through PODFarm.  You should not have to run your guitar through your KB37 and then into your VS100.

It is getting disabled because ASIO allows only one device at a time.  You may be able to get around it by running your VS100 in something other than ASIO mode, but with ASIO you are limited to one device at a time.

I would do as I described above and only use your KB37 as a MIDI Controller and use PODFarm as a plugin within Sonar or VS whichever you are using.

Interesting approach though maybe not very elegant thanks to Line 6's predatory licensing schemes. It seems though that I lose the Pod Farm interface when I do that. P8.5 seems to show every Pod device as a plug-in that needs to be adjusted separately. Is there a trick to simply have the whole Pod Farm as a plug-in so that I can keep the standard complete Pod Farm interface?
    Thanks, Jeff
