Novelty Plugins

So, what are everybodys favourite novety plugins? You know, the ones that for some reason you just think they are so cool even if you don't know if you ever gonna use them in a serious project (well I have used the ones below actually). C'mon, spread the word about your favourite far fetched goodie!

1. Delay Lama

A VSTi emulating the sound of a tibetan monk singing.

2. KeyWriter

A typewriter rompler giving you the sounds of old german hardware.

3. SSL X-Orcism

Ever wanted to make a ghoul voice, well now it's easier than ever...

Oh, and did I mention they are all freeware

Sadly very reduced studio equipment as it is... ASUS G750J, 8 gb RAM, Win8, Roland Quad Capture.

Just downloaded this and it's really cool...

DtBlkFx by Darrell Barrell is a freeware Fast-Fourier-Transform (FFT) based Multi effect VST plug-in for Windows and Mac.
This effect works differently to most others – instead of filtering or distorting audio data directly, it finds the frequency spectrum via a fast-fourier-transform and then does stuff to that.

It's not free (around $50), but it may be a tool just to spice up things when you're not inspired to write....

When I saw the name of the thread, Delay Lama was the first plug I thought of. But I'll have to check out those other two.

I've found keywriter to be invaluable at my business...commercial broadcast production.  Even tho nobody "types" any more we still get lots of spots from agencies which call for it.  It's perfect.

Frogplays is a VST plugin designed for mastering use. With almost uncanny accuracy, it emulates the sound of your track being played at a large festival by an over-enthusiastic DJ. Who happens, in this case, to be a frog.

Gotta get that frog, seems to offer just what I need (and no, I'm not kidding I think I'll actually use it).

Delay Lama was what I first thought of too.  I like the wind noise of SSL Exorcism.  This thread has made me want to put the Delay Lama through the Anal 'Tortion.
