VS20-Help

When I come to use software after installation I get message cannot read/write data - any suggestions as to problem (there are no error messages during the installation)

    Hi Borderer,
    I had the same problem.
    You have to make sure that you plug the USB cable into your computer using the same USB port that you used when you did the installation. Hope this helps.It worked for me.

    Hi guys,
     
    I've experienced this myself, and was completely confused until I asked Roland about it (they write our hardware drivers and they also wrote the VS-20 Effects Editor). What happens is the VS-20 forgets the port, and the way to fix it is either use the same USB port as you used before as The Rebel mentioned, or you can manually reassign the port in the VS-20 Effects Editor.
