Gateway SX2840-Intel Core i3 530

I recently purchased a Gateway SX2840 w/an Intel Core i3 530, with 6G of RAM-still in box, with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit installed. Would this be compatible/sufficient to run S8.5? Also, it is my understanding that only S8.5 is compatible with Windows 7-I have installation discs for S8 producer-would I even be able to install S8 on this machine in order to upgrade?

    Put your v8 on there and give it a test.

    Sonar 8 will install/run fine under Win7.
    No problem at all to install/upgrade

    I  use S 8.0 and 8.5 with win 7 64 and both work fine for me.
