1 man band drum pedals?

Anybody out there using any type of pedals to trigger digital drums? I am looking to be able to use my 2 feet to trigger electronic drums with as little money and equipment as possible. I have Sonar 8 SE and a Roland SPDS. I have looked into some type of small trigger for the SPDS but no one at GC has any ideas. I am open to buying something new if it does exactly what I want.

Triggers are just pizio pick ups that send voltage to the brain. You can make them out of those cheap stick on acoustic guitar pick ups, a piece of plywood and an old kick pedal.

I saw a one man band once who was using a Roland Kick pedal and playing Acoustic guitar.

OK, copied and pasted the link. That is a good idea but not what I need. I have a drum pedal as well as a tower. Try standing up and using a drum pedal. It is hell on your calves! I am thinking of somehow using triggers and attaching them to my shoes somehow. Kinda ghetto but.....

How cool is this? I bought 2 piezo drum triggers. Only $19.99 each. They definitely fit the bill. 2 triggers, 2 mono cables, a mono to stereo y adapter. Plug that into my SPDS and viola a stomp pad drum machine. Some cross talk. I will work on exactly how the finished thingee is gonna look and work but a great start! Thanks!

In case the triggers stop working, I just use a momentary foot-switch with my Roland SPD11.  I don't have any velocity control but I also never have any false or missed triggers.  Just check the manual if you need normally open or closed pedals.

    1.    For double bass drum effect you can do a echo/delay (x1-100%Echo- perhaps at 1/2 second) in the sections of you recording to fake the effect.
    2.    Copy the track, cut out the parts that you don't need double bass kick, then shift the track 1/2 second to the right to get double effect.
The software you have is much more easier to manipulate than having to buy hardware. Hope this helps.

I tired momentary switches at first. They didn't work. GC also told me they wouldn't work. Huh?
