First Song With Sonar - My Spaceship Blowed Up

This is my first real song with sonar.

I am calling my project Mother Lazer. This is an original song called "My Spaceship Blowed Up."

It's instrumental, all guitars, no bass and midi drums (NI battery)

Enjoy!

    Love that song title!!!

You know those are some really cool progressions.  I really think it would sound cool if you used the second heavy progression to lead into the mellow dissonant picking guitars that you led off with.  Just my 2 cents.

Nice guitar work.  Drums sound good on my system.  Lots of cool changes but maybe a bit too many if you want a cohesive song.  Not a dig on your style just wasn't sure what you were after.  Good fun stuff though and I do like the way you revolve back around to the theme you started earlier.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.

I guess that has always been a struggle of mine. I love playing heavy instrumental stuff, but I always end up feeling that if I don't jam pack a song with a lot of different riffs and changes that people will get bored with the song since there is no singing. I'm working on my next song now and it is a little more grounded compared to this one.

I'm glad you like the title. When the songs are finished they will form a concept sci-fi album.
