Another tune from Melanie and me
This one's called King George, another Scottish folk tune. I did a little experimenting by blending some different instrument textures. Mel liked it, I hope you do too. King George

This was just a fasntastic, driving piece of celtic candy, lads,& lassies...Wish I was sitting in the Highlands right now listening to this. Soon tho...Well played, but, I especially like the passion behind all the notes. If I had 100 pints of beer sitting in front of me, I'd raise and drink each one in yer honor..just carry me home afterwards...You know I love music like this Scott!! Thanks for posting this!! Larry

You sure play a mean fiddle Scott or Mel or both of you. Excellent stuff beautifully played with passion and wonderfully captured. Thank you.

Just beautiful. Sure wish I could see you play live. :-) Seems like in a couple places the main violin was behind the beat a tiny bit, but it sure didn't ruin this for me. :-)

Thanks everyone for listening. I'm glad it struck a chord with y'all. Janet, Mel tends to get behind the beat here and there on pretty much everything she does. That is what makes it so challenging to follow on the other instruments. I gave up following her and just kept it "steady as she goes".

This piece is the type that shows the relationship between Scottish music and bluegrass. Not a huge difference in the style is there? Another cool piece Great job Ron

An absolute delight to experience. It causes my mind and heart to want to journey with you to meet King George. Powerful, spirited execution and a joyous selection in the pallette of instruments........Salute............Ron

Ron, Thank you very much for listening to this. Actually, there is a huge difference between Scottish fiddling and bluegrass. Larry, I said "y'all" with you in mind. Thanks for your thoughts. Tap, Yep, that's the way we play up here yonder. Mrmarc, Thanks!

Those tempo shifts are very clever. I like the percussive additions. I think the clickers (whatever they are) are a little thin in the mix (EQ) might be these speakers not sure but maybe fatten them up with some mids??? Beautiful song.

Very soulful performance Scotty and Mel. I loved the tone of your fiddle here, very fitting for this song. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Rich
