Teleport server has quit responding...

I'm now on Sonar 8.5.3 64bit and transferring projects one by one from my old DAW.  I've had the usual few plugs missing due to not being installed yet and things in different libraries and on different drives issues which were all no real problem.  I'm getting a fairly regular occurance though with Sonar getting hung up when taking actions on various VST plugs giving me a Windows 7 dialog which says the "Teleport Server has stopped responding..." or words to that effect.  I suspect this is Bit Bridge Related??  The bad thing about this is twofold:  1] It's happening fairly frequently and 2] The only way to shut Sonar completely down after it occurs is to quite literally force the computer to turn off.  Task manager has no effect at all on getting Sonar's processes to end.  Anybody know why this is happening...what I should or should not do...or a workaround for this?

I have this problem as well, intermittent, and can usually localize it to one or two plug ins. I am able to get Device Manager to release however. That was a problem in a prior version but it has gone away for me.

When I was running vista 64 bit, had it all the time. I did a search about it on the internet, it seems to be a regular occurance in windows from what I remember. I went back to 32 bit just to have peace of mind.

Troubleshoot by disabling any known problematic vst's that you may have- older ones that haven't been updated for a while by the vendor. See if the problem stops by disabling certain ones at random, narrow it down & find the culprit.

I get the  teleport problem once in a blue moon & it's usually caused by Waves.

Yes this is related to bit bridge. You may want to try loading the particular plug in with J bridge instead. Some plugs like one and not the other.
