The trouble to reassign pads in Sonar 8.5

Hello! Recently I purchased a-800 pro. Now I try to influence work in Sonar 8.5. However, there was a next problem. At the load of project ACT automatically appoints controllers. Now I must change settings of Pads A1-a8 on playing of certain notes. As written in instruction, I am commuted in the edit mode in A-PRO and appoint necessary me notes there. I save made alteration in presets and save a project. However at the restart of project all is lost and created. What here a problem?
Thanks.

What's lost and created?  The assignment of the pads?  That's odd because I reassigned my pads last night and this morning turning my laptop on they are still assigned to the same notes I reassigned them to.  Make sure you have installed the Control Surface Plugin for the A-800 PRO and set it up.  When you to to Tools>A-PRO 1 you will see towards the right on the dialog box that pops up whether pads are set to be buttons or notes.  On B1, they are set to be buttons which will not follow your note assignment.  However, I believe in B2-B3 the pads are notes.

Edit: Scratch that I'm experiencing the same problem my pads are assigned to the original notes again.  Does anyone have any ideas?

In my computer all is installed as is told in the instruction. A-PRO control surface it is installed even with a last update. However, functions "Pads are notes" and "Pads are buttons" work inadequately. At switching with one on another and back earlier assigned notes change. Now I have ceased to use this function and I work only in a mode "Pads are buttons".

Hmmm...perhaps it is a bug and we should report it.  This problem may only be occurring with ACT Control Map 0 since in the editor there is the ability to receive and transmit control maps 1 and above but not 0.  Maybe if there was a way to open th ACT Control Map in the editor we will be able to save the pad note assignments.

Unique way to save customisation of assignments it to use A-PRO Editor. (I mean only those assignments which cannot be made through A-PRO control surface). Thus, each time after project opening it is necessary to load preliminary saved map of assignments from A-PRO Editor. It not to eat well :(

Good idea I was thinking the same thing.  I still want to figure this out and remain in ACT mode though but if there is no solution I guess that's what we'll have to do :/.

It seems as though every time I edit a note assignment on a pad ACT turns off and when I turn it back on I lose my assignments.  Also, every time I start up Sonar the A-800 PRO LCD screen says "Receiving..." and I lose my assignment there as well.  Does anybody have a solution to this problem.  Is there a way to edit note assignments within Sonar? maybe there are ACT settings for note assignments?

Update: If you happen to be using a drum sampler there is a way to change the mapping to match the pads so you don't have to worry about reassigning them.
