Bapu Auction Starts at noon July 23, 2010

Well he's been fun to play with here in the Coffee House. Even got his own band going. Anyway ...times are tough and I am auctioning him off tomorrow at noon. Starting bid is $37.49.  The winner will have to pay a $1500 shipping fee because of weight and size of the UPS box.



Some good features about Bapu.

1. He has all his shots

2. Disease free.

3. All teeth in place and recent dental exam and cleaning.

4. You can sit him down in front of the computer while your away from home or on vacation and don't worry about maintenance for up to 30 days.

5. He can do tricks like play bass, take out the garbage, roll over, and shut up when your tired of hearing him blabber about insignificant topics.

6. He does have a learners permit for driving a car so on occasion he can be your chauffeur




Known flaws with Bapu

1. Although he has all his shots they don't work for his allergy to pollen which gives him a nervous tick in his neck making him look he's having a sezior when there is a high pollen count in the air. Docs are working on the vaccine for this.
2. He is disease free but he is missing the small toe on the bapu right foot ( the piggy that wee wee wee all the way home) from his brief sting in Africa and the Ebola Disease. (bapu fine now though.  )

3. Yes all hi teeth are in place although some are different colors. this happened when Bapu got lose and his other family couldnt find him for 9 days. Then when a hotel  in East St Thomas reported a Bapu living there and not paying authroties informed his old family. His teeth were various colors when the police returned bapu. We never have been able to figure it out

4. He sometimes drools all over computers if you sit him down in front of own too long. Leave a bucket under  his chin seems to catch most of the drool

5. Yes!  When bapu is talking about nothing of significance he will shut up if you tell him. The problem is that every time he speaks nothing of significance comes out of him. This is why the last owner sold him to me. Although i didnt mind his insignificant rambles. Kinda like this thread.


6. bapu is a good driver. he has his learners permit but has been known to fall asleep at the wheel from staying up all night in his cage howling at the moon. This has stopped him from passing his driving license test 27 times as of July 22, 2010

That would just about buy a 5-string Alembic Bass.

Seems to me that he's picked up a few in this place and I'd like to know if they'll be removed prior to shipping.

Some are easily removed. A simple bath will do.


Others are more difficult. May require a dousing in kerosene.


The remaining few require an abuse report.
