Anyone install 8.0PE x64 on Windows 7

 I'm installing 8.0 Producer 64-bit on Windows 7 Pro x64 and it's been stuck on "Finishing installation" and the window is unresponsive.  
 
Is this normal?  What are the odds that it will actually finish?

    You need to check for hidden dialogue boxes.  If you're not running in maximum admin mode  (full perms for everything) then Win7 can ask you permission for random things at random times  (at least they seem random) and those dialogues are often under the instal window that you're using.  If the installer then has to wait for the permissions but self locks to stop you messing with it while it get permission then you're stuck if the permission dialogue appears underneath.

    I had similar problems the first time I tried to install Sonar on Win7.  If you have full permissions for everything (not just admin mode, turn off UAC as well) then all should be fine.

    Not normal. Sonar 8 installs just fine under Windows 7. What soundcard are you using?
