MIDI to Audio Recording Giving Me Choppy Feedback

Hi, everyone. I just figured out how to record from a MIDI track to an Audio track in MC3 on Windows 7, and unfortunately, no MIDI tracks play right. They are playing back off beat and chopping up sound, even when recording just one track. Any suggestions?

I don't think it's time to close the topic:

You don't record the midi tracks to audio, you bounce or freeze them. Read the manual on those topics.

IIRC the GS Wavetable Synth can't be bounced, though. But one shouldn't be using it anyway.

Oooh another issue here is that MC3 was never made for Win7.  MC3 was back in 2004 or so...  I'm not completely sure of time, but I know that I got it in 2005 and it was already out for quite a while when i got it.......

I'll bet that OS incompatibility is likely causing some other totally unknown issues.

yep good catch there MC3 is old school..... you should upgrade to MC5 for W7... there are OS compatibility issues at play.
