Z3ta+ beginners question.

Hi there, I bought Z3ta+ a while ago but I just can't wrap my head about one of the very basic aspects;
When I initialize a program to get a clean patch and select the vintage saw 1 waveform it sounds muffled and noisy, so thats the waveform without ANY filters or modulation on it? When I open patch 4 of bank C (plucked bells) and put all the parameters off but osc 1 on vintage saw 1 I still get a pretty clean saw sound.

I really don't know what to do to get a normal basic sound out of Z3ta+ without the muffled noisy 'filter'.

This is how the 'plucked bells' patch looked like after I sweeped it:

And then try to initialize a patch and just putting osc 1 to vintage saw 1, its very different, where's that coming from?

    Try turning on the 2X Oversampling.  Big difference.

    Oh wow, thanks!
    How is it even possible there is no box ticked when you initialize a program?

    You could create your own Init patch and set it 2x oversampling then just load that each time instead of using Z3ta's Initialize function.

    Don't ask my why 2X isn't checked by default especially given the power of current CPU's..................
