Rapture 1.2.2 64bit Multisamples Folder

Has anyone successfully moved the multisamples folder for the 64 bit version 1.2.2 of Rapture?

No matter where I point the Multisamples folder in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\rp
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Rapture

to say D:\RP

The Microhost 64 bit or the 64 bit plugin in Sonar can not find the multisamples unless they are in

C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples

I installed the 64 bit Rapture in C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins as advised.

The non 64 bit reads the pointers fine.
What am I doing wrong?
Is there a different place in the registry for the 64bit information?
Can you not change the location for the 64bit Rapture?

It worked fine for the Dimension Pro 64 bit 1.5 update.
Please Advise.

yeah, Rapture is a little stupid that way.  if you are dead set on placing your multisamples to a folder on your D drive, i have gone about it this way with success: uninstall Rapture, and then re-install the WHOLE PROGRAM on the D drive (and then you'd have to have the VST scanner scan that folder).  my remedy may sound/seem stupid, but it works

3.5 Ghz AMD 6-Core/16 gigs RAM, Roland Quad-Capture, Win 10, Cakewalk by Bandlab, Komplete 10, z3ta+, Z3TA+ 2, Rapture, Maschine 2.7 (MKI & Jam), Melodyne 4 Studio, Ozone 4, Jam Origin MIDI Guitar 2, Schecter Damien Elite, Fender Sonoran w/TronicalTune Plus installed, etc

A trick I've used on other applications that don't allow relocation of folders is to use NTFS junction points. Just move your multisamples folder to your D: drive and replace the C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples folder with a junction point named Multisamples that links to your relocated folder. I haven't updated to v1.2.2 yet, but that should work.

    Thanks for confiming.

I just won't waste any more time on this, trying to do something it won't do.
    I just hate duplication.
[size=3 font="times new roman"]Luckily the Rapture Multisamples are small in comparison with Dimension Pro.

wetdentist: I will try that method the next time I must reinstall which I hope is never.

dwcalwell: I am afraid your answer is beyond my scope. I have never heard the term junction point. I tend to keep my drives simple and predictable in any system.

Maybe it will be fixed in the next update.
