Adding cymbals session drummer 3

Hello all, I'm using session drummer 3 and i'm inputting the pre made patterns into the track but don't understand how to get a cymbal crash in there. it seems like none of the pre made ones really crash any cymbals. I'm sure i'm missing something here. John

    If I remember correctly, you can right click on any drum in the mixer section and then select Load Instrument and then chose what you want to load

    Ok. I'm trying to put a crash note in my drum track in certain areas. So I loaded the cymbal that I want and then at certain times I would hit it. I have the drum track armed to record but it's not picking up the note.

    How are you recording? If your using a midi controller or electronic drums, then you need to make sure their midi channels match.
    If you loaded a cymbal and its in channel 49, then your electronic drums or midi controller needs to output that same channel.
