    I really prefer a waterbed if you ask me!

    Well, I keep telling you to put polythene sheeting over them before you try them out. 

    If you did that they wouldn't need to discount them as shop-soiled all the time.

    I've participated in mattress racing down stairwells.  In college, I persuaded some victims friends to start at the top of the stairwell, throw the mattress on the stairs, and then dive on top and ride it down.  They'd run it around the corner and repeat the process for the next flight of stairs.

    It's amazing how many people you can convince to try something like this.
