For a really good laugh

You Bet Your Life, with Marcia Brody

Video clip is about 7 minutes long.  I just saw it last night and it was the best laugh I'd had all day.  A couple of 'em actually.

Now, for you non-Americans around here...not all of us talk this way!  So I imagine most of us are also laughing at her accent.  (sorry Herb)  :-)  But it's funny beyond the accent.

If you like, here's part 2:

You Bet your Life with Marcia Brody, pt. 2

I almost feel bad laughing at that, but it was funny.

I'm glad you liked it Annette.  We can all use the laughs now and then.

I was just thinking about you this morning and hoping you're doing OK.  (I was thinking about lawnmowers)  :-)

Thanks for asking Janet.  I'm doing okay...going day by day.

I don't think I'll be doing the grass thing again.  It took me two days and 5 sessions to get it done.  I just can't breathe in the humidity with my lung problems.  Also my daughter came home while I was cutting the grass and startled me.  I tripped over my own feet and still have a huge bruise on my leg (I still have some issues walking obviously).  I've had problems with nerve damage in my arm and starting the lawn mower has seriously aggravated it.

    The plus side:

    1.  I got it done.
    2.  I didn't blow up the engine with the wrong mixture of gas and oil.
    3.  I learned that being stubborn isn't always a good thing.

Yeah, you'll have to figure out what you can do and what you'll have to ask help for.  I'm glad it went as well as it did.  And you don't always have to call it stubbornness.   Hang in there...we're rootin' for you!

    Thanks Janet,

I'm pretty sure the house will be up for sale shortly and I can find something more manageable for me.  If anyone has tips on how to kick start teenagers....I'm all ears!

    Yeah, that was great too.

I could just watch Bill Cosby's faces and laugh for quite awhile. :-)

Also funny is that she knew most of the answers!  :-)
