Some days, I wish I was a mutant

Sometimes, I wake up wishing I was a mutant in a post-nuclear holocost world.  I wonder what my special mutant abilities might be.  Will I have an extra head?  Four arms would be nice (depending on their location).  A glowing exoskelaton might be cool. 
 
I also wonder about my surroundings.  Are there small bands of humanity huddled together in out of the way places?  Are the cities completely desolate wastelands?  Are the Tollways FINALLY clear of road construction?  If so, it might all be worth it...

    After living as many years as I have, I believe that we are all mutants, working to discover our powers and failing in most cases.  I believe my mutant power is being able to sit in front of a good movie, or play my guitar and block the rest of the world from using their mutant powers on me.  Well, at least for a little while!  I'd rather sit in traffic on the freeway than worry about wearing a radiation suit.  It's 115 deg here in the summer!

    Aha, that confirms I'm already a mutant I already have two fore arms attached to my elbows.
