sonar home studio 7 audio input

i just got sonar home studio 7 and i cant seem to figure out how to set up the input to record.

    • Your OS/Specs etc

    well when ever i add a new audio track i click on input/output to try and set it up but there is no input only an output.
      i have a behringer xenyx1002 and a audiobuddy preamp

    ok, but we need to know more about your computer specs and your soundcard that you're using.  when SHS7 first started, did you let the wave profiler run?  did you get any errors?

    When in Cakewalk, from the top menu select 'Options', then 'Audio', then the 'Drivers' tab. What is listed and what is checked active for your input?

    i actually figured it out. one of my cables is messed up so it coudlnt read the input
