How to ReWire FL Studio into Sonar for MIDI output?

hello my friends!
i have FL Studio 8 producer edition and Sonar Producer edition.

i have made a drum track in FL Studio using EZDRUMMER and what i want to do is that i want to export the MIDI files of the drums from FL Studio to Sonar.

when i export midi from fl and then import to sonar then the sound of the midi doesnt come!
so the only choice i have is to use FL Studio as a rewire client!
so please tell me how to use FL STUDIO as rewire to have the MIDI files to Sonar

thank you so much!!

FL is rewired for effects (i think) what you have done in  fl with ez , just load in ez in sonar and then the midi file  to that track in sonar

Yeah its just for effects(like a plug-in) not in the traditional sense like reason, FL is just for effects

    Say what?

You need to export MIDI from Reason as well, if you want the MIDI in Sonar. You can use Reason's sequencer to drive Reason's instruments when ReWired, but there's no MIDI out. Reason's never had MIDI out, period.

When an app's used as a ReWire slave (as FL is in this case), you can stream audio but not MIDI.

Use the synth rack in Sonar to insert EZ Drummer. When the dialog box for its properties comes up check all audio outs and check MIDI track too. You may wish to have this in a folder so check that as well.

Then simply drag the MIDI file from the exported one from FL into that MIDI track. Hit play and you should hear drums.

Why would Reason come into this?

I don't know what Reason has to do with this. The OP is talking about FL Studio rewired to Sonar.  FL Studio will work as Reason would if it is rewired to Sonar. FL Studio is not just for effects either while being rewired. Its audio is sent to Sonar just as Reason's audio would be. Therefor FL Studio can do everything FL Studio does as a full fledged audio app while being rewired.

BTW it can also be loaded as VSTi.

When you load as a VSTi, can you access a FL session in sonar?
