Cakewalk Delay not working

I have Sonar 64 bit 8.5.3 and played back a tune that was recorded previously in 32 bit Sonar. I used the Cakewalk delay plugin for the lead vocal part. It shows up on the buss and the individual track. I installed jbridge and the delay still wasn't working. I even deleted the delay and inserted the 64 bit Cakewalk delay, still nothing.

Are there certain plugins that just won't work in 64 bit?

Thanks

worked fine here without Jbridge (I don't use it) win7 64 with sonar x64

I tried it in both the bin and console without issue.

the delay that say (mono) beside it right? tried that and the other few none cakewalk ones included on a wav file without issue

Hmm, I'm not on 64bit OS yet, but I'm under the impression the DX versions of the older plugins are not 64bit.  Is that not correct?

as I said in my previous post, I've tried the ones in the x64 sonar (8.5 PE) as standard that are listed and they work.. the cake one seems quite old, because of the GUI / sliders on it , but regardless it "delays" the wav I gave it. same with the sonitus delay, again worked without issue for me.

I guess the delete / re-apply the effect has been tried

That's interesting.  Are you by chance using bitbridge (and isn't that somewhat "automatic" in the x64 version)?

I just clicked install and done.. so whatever it's using it works.

I mean i know the rx2/rex libs are 32 bit (thanks.. no really thanks propellerheads) .. but I can get around using them in 64 bit by using RXP.. so I assume it's doing that via bitbridge :)

Meanwhile, while you guys are figuring out how to use a funky delay plug-in the likes of which are dime-a-dozen and free on the internet, you Could be taking one hour of your time to cook up a file for the Orchestral Shootout which has no less than the entire Garritan Library as its grand prize.

Aside from your promoting effort ;)  --- you're right.  The OP might consider getting a newer/better/sometimes even free delay :D

The Cakewalk Delay I'm referring to is the stereo version...let me cut to the chase on this to save time on my end....when upgrading to 64 bit, do the older Cake plugs show up? I don't remember if I added this after the fact or if the Delay is actually a 64 bit plugin. What's weird is that the meters read a signal, the volumes work, but the delay effect does not
