Monitor Plug Help! What kind of plug is this?

It goes to my new JBL LSR 4328P

It came 1 per monitor.

The manual reads:

AC POWER CONNECTIONS

The LSR4300 voltage is set at the factory for use with either 100V-125V (U.S.) or 200V-250V.  The ground terminal of the IEC plug is required by wiring codes and regulations.  It must always be connected to the electrical installation safety ground.  CAUTION:  Do not use three-pin-to-two-pin AC adapters to defeat the ground.

The LSR4300-Series units have carefully designed internal grounding and balanced inputs and outputs to reduce the possiblity of ground loops (hum).  If hum occurs, see Appendix C  on page 34 in this manual for suggested audio signal wiring, system grounding hits and other preventive measures.

Help!?

So can I get an adapter?

So basically I need one of these?

Secondly, I don't see a switch to change the voltage/power. Here's the back of the speaker:

What'cha think?  Also, I thought I would need a USA 3-prong for this type of thing?  Do they make EURO to 3-prong adapters, or is this not necessary?

    Thanks!!!

For the looks of the back panel the cord comes out. All you have to do is put a USA cord on it.  Any computer AC cord should work.

It looks kosher - just needs the reg plug.  But be sure it sez 120 on the back.  The manual sez "set at the factory." Since they put the wrong plug w/ it, check first that it isn't 240.

I may be screwed.  The plug back says 230V~.50Hz, the one in the picture above says 120V~.60Hz.  Mine say 130W as well below.

Have you checked the JBL web site or contacted them ? They may be able to help you or the manual may show how to switch it.  They may be able to sell you a new panel with the US voltage electronics.

You were mistakingly sent a package destined for the European market. I know how painfull this must be, but I believe you are wasting your time by looking for a solution other than a complete replacement. Repackage the kit and bring it back to your dealer. When a replacement is available and while still at your dealer, open one box to make sure you have the right kit.

It's a major bummer, but it happens.

Everyone, Alegria unfortunately hit it right on the head.

I contacted JBL today and there are definitely 2 different models, one a 120 and the other a 220.  I was mistakenly sent the 220; the 220 will obviously not work with a 120 outlet.

It was also a mispick that the package included the Euro cable.  Whether or not it would have worked with an adapter is moot; the voltage would have been a bust.

SO. . . . here's to working with a good company!  I'm packing them up, they're sending me a FedEx receipt, and are sending replacements.  These things happen.  I'm not pissed, I still got my mounts up and ready, and hell, I'm going to get all that wood stained this weekend and finished and ready for the speakers when they DO get here!

What's another week to a lifetime of waiting!?  Inconvenient, but that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes!!

Thank you all for your help; maybe it was a learning experience for all.

    Nice reaction spindle!

I pretty much saw this coming with your OP... and was reluctant to make a comment. It's good to see you've got it all figured out.

    Thank goodness for good service.

    best regards,
    mike

Yes, disappointed of course; it's kind of like getting your dream car and losing the keys!!!  LOL.

Getting pissed would have solved nothing.  Plan B is always within reach.

    Cheers!
