    Hey Dave,

    Over here in blighty there was a rockumentary about the Stones on the BBC. It was on the recording of 'Exile on Mainstreet' with some of those wrinkly rockers talking about that very same mobile studio.

    Apparently they drove it all the way to the south of France and hooked it up to the basement of Keith Richards french mansion.

    They recorded the whole album in L.A. a few months later, but they used the mobile to capture all the original material plus a lot more that has only just resurfaced recently.

    I put my porta-one in the car and tried to tell Mooch it was the Stones Mobile Recording Truck.

    He weren't havin' none of it.

    Watched that BBC rockumentary on Netflix here.

    Too funny. it all started because the stones did not want to pay the taxman.  And Nice was very close to Marseille where Keith could get all the smack he wanted.
