Track Pane vs Bus Pane Selection Behavior

I am using Sonar 8.5.3 PE.  When I am in Track View and select a track by selecting it via the Left Mouse Button in the track pane, this track is hilited (gray color on my system) and it is obvious which track(s) I have selected.  When I perform the same operation in the Bus pane to select a Bus it is not hilited and I must be careful to ensure I have selected the proper Bus or else I may inadvertently perform an operation on the wrong Bus.  Are there setting to control this or is this the current design of the UI for Bus panes???
