Is it possible to use Z3TA+ in Pro Tools with a wrapper?

I saw someone on another forum say he was able to use Z3TA+ in Pro Tools, but I tried doing so with the FXPansion vst to rtas adapter and it won't wrap. Has anyone had success wrapping Z3TA+ for use with Pro Tools?

On an unrelated note, I also can't use Z3TA+ in FL Studio. Says something about it possibly not being installed correctly, but I reinstalled it and it still won't load. All that loads is a blank wrapper.

Any help is appreciated.

the installer file might be corrupted or damaged, vst/dx all run no probs with fl, do you have sonar, if so, does it load ok in sonar

I always assumed Pro tools supported VST as well as RTAS?

might depend which version it is, I mean I have the boxed one before I was a Sonar user.. I can't recall if there is different installers on that disk.

you don't say which version of z3ta your running , stand alone or bundled.

it could be a simple case of it expecting files to be in a certain place that aren't

I have had issues in the past where my VST/RTAS have been in separate folders instead of the "Shared" VST/RTAS folder and it couldn't find them... There is a way to search or link a folder to the plug-ins in your DAW (I don't remember how in FL or Pro Tools as I haven't had this problem for over 5 years) I would check to see if it is in a different folder than the ones that show up(if any do)

Now the next thing I would ask is are you using Pro Tools LE or HD? Some are not compatable with LE, you have to have a native version, not stand alone. So if you are using LE and using a wrapper that might work on HD there is your issue.

I have Pro Tools M-Powered. Pro Tools only runs RTAS plugins, not VSTs. Thus I need to wrap Z3TA+ from VST to RTAS in order to use it in Pro Tools, but the FXPansion vst to rtas adapter doesn't wrap it. I would think maybe Z3TA+ just can't be wrapped from vst to rtas, but other people have said they were able to use it in Pro Tools. I figured some people here might have tried it and might know.

As far as which version of Z3TA+, it's just...Z3TA+. I'm not familiar with a bundled one.

Problem solved! I just needed to install the 32-bit version instead of the 64-bit (even though I have Windows 7 64-bit installed). Now it's working fine in both FL Studio and Pro Tools.
