GT 2 monitoring problem

Hi,

I have GT 2 and have been having a problem with monitoring what I'm recording. My sound card is Sigma Tel and I use a Edirol UA3 interface for my guitar/bass. I can record a track, can't monitor while recording, but can hear playback. Also, I tried recording a second track, couldn't monitor 1st track or the 2nd track. On top of that I could see input, but couldn't record 2nd track. Nothing in edit view of 2nd track. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks
