Finding DirectX plug ins

HI - I am having some trouble finding DirectX plug ins specifically -since my CD Architech will only take those and the effects that come with the program are few and they kind of suck.

I have a lot of VST plug ins that I like for processing purposes and would like to get them into CD Arch. -but it will only run Direct X plugs. I think I figured it out last night. I found and downloaded a free  "wrapper" by Acon which was picked up on  Sony's scanner, and then I was able to put in Boost 11 in my fx chain...It appeared to be working fine.

Go to kvraudio.com and query the plugin database, which allows you to specify DX as a selection criterion.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

This is confusing, with regards to your first post.  So you 're going to wrap your VSTs as DX plugs.  So actually you no longer need to find DX plugs, right?

So you 're going to wrap your VSTs as DX plugs.

Yeah, that sounds like what's been done.

I was going to suggest the Acon solution to the OP. It's a pretty decent VST->DX wrapper: Acon Effect Chainer at the bottom of the screen.
