Can Dim Pro be used as a standalone synth

When I upgraded Rapture from LE to the full version it had the ability to play the synth without opening it up in Sonar first.
 
I've now upgraded from Dimension LE to Pro.
Can it do the same, or do I always have to use it through Sonar et.al.?

    The latest update 1.5 for Dim Pro has a built-in host so you can use it standalone.  For versions prior 1.5 you had two choices: a) an unofficial microhost available for free download from Dim Pro's primary programmer, or grab one of the VST Micro hosts out there and set it up to host Dim Pro.

    I haven't got round to upgrading DimPro to v1.5 yet.

    Dimension Pro Microhost  Extract this file into the same folder as Dimension Pro.dll.  Double-click on Dimension Pro.exe to open the Microhost, or create your own shortcut to it.

    I upgraded to v1.5 and now have the microhost anyway.
