    It is.

The only side effect will be that you'll be saying 'wow' and 'best ever' and '64bit - it matters' and  'wow again' and 'can't believe it's not butter' and 'Freddie H for president' and 'I have a problem with Dim Pro' and 'I'm running 7,000 tracks and 3 millions plugs and not a squeak' and 'thank you, Sonar, you're the bestest ever' and 'why are people typing bilge just because they are stuck on 32bit'

I run it on a laptop that isn't anywhere near that powerful and it does fine.

It'll run fine, but if you're worried about problems, you should always back up your system before installing new software. I use Acronis True Image for backing up data... http://newtechreview.com/?Acronis
