KORG NANO KONTROL USB Controller

I just purchased a KORG Nano Kontrol as a replacement for the Presous Faderport that never worked with my 64 bit Sonar 8.5.3 and Vista.

Any suggestions regarding this piece of equipment. It looks like it has all the funcionality I require for transport and basic volume and level settings.

I love mine!  I think it's perfect for a low budget artist.  The only thing that drove me nuts was setting it up... It's not hard, just time consuming.  but love the flexibility.  Just got a nanopad too, I'm trying to get it up and running.  I love them!   There's a post somewhere that walks you through programing.  It's very easy to use and feels great!

PITA to set up. I ended up selling mine after a week as I found it pointless.

I agree it was a pain to set up.  I used the tutorial from the above link and everything works except for the loop button on the transport.

I have mine set up to control tracks with sliders for volume and knobs for pan.  Buttons are set to Record Arm and Mute.

Slider #9 is assigned to control Master Volume.  Sonar does not remember this assignment, so you have to set it up in every new project.  (Right click on the volume and pull down to "remote control".

In Dimension Pro, I used Midi Learn to set the sliders to control the drawbars on the Hammond B3 emulation.   Knobs control key click, speaker rotation, etc.

It would be nice if Cakewalk would add some preset control maps for these new, popular devices in the next version of Sonar.
