Independence Multi-Outputs

Hi Again,

I've sampled a couple of drum machines into layers on Indy. I currently have a project with about 6-7 pieces of drumkit on it. How can I assign the output of each piece of kit to its own track in Sonar for processing/mixing? Btw, I don't want to use the mixer or inserts on indy. So far, I've clicked on modules, output, mono, custom3. I've tried to select custom3 as an input on Sonar but it's not there. Where am I going wrong?

Thanks,
q

is the data midi or audio (not familar with indy)

A rack of noisemakers is not a definitive substitute for creativity. (though it does seem to help)

I believe you will still have to assign the projects layers to outputs. Just leave the mixer at it's default and direct assign the inputs to the desired output. You can still choose mixed stereo and or mono outs.

You're choosing custom 3 still assigns the layer to  " custom 3 " in INDE's mixer section. For what it's worth INDE has one of the the best mixers I've ever seen in a VSTi. Besides all that, it only acts as a path for the layer to get to your host and is completely neutral if you don't add anything.

Independence Pro or Independence Free is what is being referred to.  If you guys don't have it yet... you owe it to yourselves to download Yellow Tools Inde Free.
